After a big week, which included BYU's thrilling victory over No. 1-ranked Gonzaga, the Cougars' Elijah Bryant has been named the Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association.

The honor comes in the same week that Bryant was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week.

In a press release announcing the accolade, Bryant was lauded for his performances, not only in the win over Gonzaga, but also in the Cougars' win over Portland.
