Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) celebrated his birthday on Tuesday by blowing out the candles on a birthday cake just about as weirdly as you could possibly imagine.
The senator’s staff presented him with a decidedly odd cake constructed of Twinkies. “Just what I’ve always wanted!” Romney exclaims in a minute-long video shared on his Twitter account. And then he proceeded to pick the candles off one-by-one, blowing them out individually.

Fortunately, there were only about a dozen candles on the cake, not one for each of his 72 years.
