Man’s body found in car parked in West Valley City: ’Multiple injuries consistent with homicidal violence'

Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a parked car on Saturday in West Valley City.

The body of Jesus Vasquez, 31, had “multiple injuries consistent with homicidal violence," West Valley City police wrote in a news statement Sunday.

Investigators found Vasquez’s body in the passenger seat of a car in a parking lot at 2835 S. 2855 West, police wrote. The vehicle is a maroon, four-door Nissan Frontier pickup truck, and the person who drove it to the parking lot may be involved with Vasquez’s death, police wrote.

Anyone who saw the truck being driven in the area of the parking lot or noticed anything else suspicious may call police at 801-840-4000.
