Made in Utah festival brings local food, music and wares to The Gateway

Local artists, brewers, makers, musicians and business owners brought their wares and talents to The Gateway in Salt Lake City on Sunday for the second week of the second annual Made in Utah Winter Fest.

The free festival — which continues Dec. 21 and 22 — is designed to provide holiday shoppers with a local destination where they can pick out those last-minute gifts. The Made in Utah festival is one of many Christmas and winter markets happening along the Wasatch Front this month.

Festival-goers are invited to wander Rio Grande Street — which is closed to traffic during the festival — enjoy a hot beverage and take in the wintry light displays as they listen to local music and browse local food, beverages and other products.
