The president’s past and ongoing actions in Ukraine have jeopardized our national security and by themselves merit his removal. Further, his acts of corruption, crime and coverup go well beyond Ukraine to include emoluments clause and campaign finance law violations, obstruction of justice and the welcoming of Russian interference in the 2016 election.
Last, but not least, his lack of a moral compass, chaotic administration, and destructive, divisive and inhumane policies have corrupted political discourse, undermined our democracy and its institutions, undermined the rule of law, and destabilized global alliances.
• Insist on a fair and robust Senate trial; genuinely seek truth by insisting on testimony from those closest to the actions under scrutiny.
