Andrew Taylor, a frequent visitor and admirer of the marvelous natural values of our state wrote, “Dear Utahns, I have a question” published in the Sunday, March 18, issue of The Salt Lake Tribune. That question essentially asking why we as citizens of this wonderful state don’t support policies that protect those values.
The answer, Andrew is, “We are true Republicans.” Surveys and statements of public opinion reflect our genuine concern and utter dismay about what is happening with our air quality, monuments, parks and other wild lands; the destruction of Great Salt Lake wetlands, water availability, traffic and urban sprawl, etc.
