You must read the “Beetle Bailey” cartoon in The Salt Lake Tribune on Oct. 22. Sarge asks Beetle what he is going to do after the Army and Beetle states, “Use the skills I learned here to get a good job.” Sarge replies, “Goofing off, making up excuses and acting like a big shot?” Beetle answers, “Yeah, I thought I’d run for Congress!”
This is what a lot of people are thinking is really going on nowadays back East instead of running our country.
