Kalani Sitake, son of an immigrant father and grandfather, has made the most of their sacrifices in his rise in the coaching profession and his recent hiring as BYU's head football coach proves it.
“He always made you feel safe with him. We (the siblings) all love him. He made us all feel special. He makes sure everyone is included and welcomed and loved. He was a sibling, but he was like a parent to us.”
