To everyone who loves BYU football:
It is hard for me to put into words how much I love BYU and how much I love LaVell Edwards, Dick Felt, Tom Ramage, Ken Schmidt and all the other coaches, teammates, trainers, managers and so many others at BYU who were such a big part of my life. I am beyond grateful that LaVell Edwards and his coaches believed in a “rough-around-the-edges” Idaho farm boy with a very big chip on his shoulder 30 years ago. To be a part of BYU football at a very special time in its history and to win the Outland Trophy was such a great blessing in my life.
