Jaren Hall went down late versus South Florida after hitting his head the field, but the freshman QB is back practicing. Coaches, however, were not ready to name him the starter just yet.
All three quarterbacks — Jaren Hall, Baylor Romney and Joe Critchlow — have taken snaps this week in practice, but Jaren Hall has not been 100% cleared. Hall said he continues to go through concussion protocol “day by day” and that there is no timeline for when he will be cleared for game action.
Reading between the lines, it sounds like Hall will start Saturday.
