Ogden • Weber State on Wednesday announced that the school has named Tim Crompton as its new athletic director, a role he has filled as the interim AD since May 2019.
“Tim is a perfect fit for Weber State,” said Norm Tarbox, who oversees the WSU Athletics Department, in a news release. “He knows the community and the campus. He knows good coaching. He’s committed to help our student-athletes reach their potential on the field and in the classroom. And he bleeds purple.”
“I’m honored for the opportunity to work with the wonderful student-athletes at Weber State,” Crompton said in the news release.
