No. 15 BYU, who earned the two seed in the WCC tournament and therefore a double bye, will play three-seed Saint Mary’s in Las Vegas on Monday Night.
The BYU Cougars, who rose to no. 15 in the AP Poll this week, last played on Feb. 29 at Pepperdine, where they won 81-64. BYU has won nine games in a row and finds itself in the top 10 for NET rankings (no. 9) this week, as well.
Saint Mary’s made its first appearance in the WCC Tournament in the quarterfinals against Pepperdine on Saturday night, though the game did not end until early Sunday morning.
