BYU Basketball will face one of its toughest opponents of the year Thursday night at the Marriott Center — Gonzaga.
The 19-2 Gonzaga Bulldogs are ranked fourth in the country (and have been in the top 5 for pretty much the whole season). They’re undefeated and in first place in the WCC with a 6-0 record. They’re on a 10-game winning streak and have won 28 straight conference games on the road. Gonzaga is coming off of an absolutely dominating performance at Santa Clara. The Bulldogs wiped the floor with the Broncos, 98-39.
The BYU Cougars are 13-9 and find themselves tied for second place in the WCC after a wild weekend where the Cougars beat Saint Mary’s 71-66, Saint Mary’s went on to lose their Saturday game at Pepperdine, and San Francisco lost to San Diego, leaving the Cougars and Dons tied at 5-2 in conference play.
