BYU Basketball will open West Coast Conference play on Thursday against the no. 1 Gonzaga Bulldogs.
This, after three failed attempts to start conference play already — BYU’s games at Pepperdine, then San Diego last week were both postponed due to COVID protocols within those two programs. Then it happened again as BYU was set to face Pacific on Thursday at the Marriott Center.
News broke on Mon. that it would be another postponed game for the Cougars, but Head Coach Mark Pope and co. were not having that, as Coach Pope tweeted, “It’s go time! Get ready Cougar Nation!
