When I fired up the ole Twitter machine this morning to get my daily serving of people being mad online, I was reminded that today starts the most unimportant portion of the college football off-season.

I am referring to “Watch List” season. This is a special time of year in which unknown committees of people collect a list of pretty much every college football player to be considered for one of their end-of-year awards.
