Up until this weekend, ESPN's College Gameday show had gone on the road for every weekend of the college football season in hopes of highlighting some of the greatest fanbases, traditions, and environments from the biggest and most exciting teams in the nation. But here was the catch: observant fans were quick to point out that every single featured matchup had involved schools from just two conferences, the Big 10 and SEC.
Naturally, both of those leagues feature some of the most talented and well-built programs in the entire country -- no one is denying that -- but the wide world of college football was tired of the apparent bias from which those two leagues benefit.
