Fitts, a 6-foot-4, 263-pound defensive end for the Utes, accumulated 68 tackles (37 solo), 14 tackles for a loss and 11.5 sacks in 25 games. He burst onto the scene with the Utes as a sophomore in 2015 after transferring from UCLA. Fitts played in 13 games and collected 41 tackles, eight tackles for a loss, seven sacks and 10 passes defensed.
Fitts ranked as a four-star recruit and the ninth-best defensive end in the nation by Rivals.com coming out of high school in California. ESPN ranked him as the 85th-best prospect in the nation in his graduating class.
