Provo • Provo High sprinter Meghan Hunter walked onto the track for her preliminary heat of the 400 meter sprint last season, and her father, Iain Hunter, could tell the race wasn’t going to go well.
He called out to Meghan, who had been dealing with hamstring, back and hip flexor pain, over to the fence next to the starting line.
Meghan didn’t qualify for the finals, but even if she had she wouldn’t have been able to run. She could barely walk.
