It’s been a good week for BYU athletics.
First, last Friday BYU accepted an invite to join the Big 12, finalizing BYU’s long dream of Power Five status.
The next day, BYU finally beat Utah and ended the streak. It was twelve years in the making and they finally did it.
Thursday night, BYU’s excellent week continued, as the women’s volleyball team swept number 10 Utah at the Smith Fieldhouse.
The last time the Cougars played Utah, they were upset in the NCAA Tournament at the Smith Fieldhouse as the Utes swept the Cougars in a massive upset.
