BYU Women’s Volleyball is in the middle of a potentially historic season, although they haven’t made any history yet.
But that can change for the first time on Saturday night. If the Cougars beat Pepperdine they’ll move to 20-0 on the season.
Those 20 wins will match the longest winning streak for BYU in rally scoring history.
Back in 2005 BYU also won their first 20 games of the season, finishing the regular season 22-2. Unfortunately they fell in the first round of the NCAA tournament to none other than Pepperdine.
Let’s hope that part of history doesn’t repeat itself 23 years later.
