BYU Women’s Soccer took advantage of a home crowd to take down No. 6 Santa Clara 2-0 on Saturday evening.
In the Cougars’ biggest match of the season they played one of their best of the year, beating the Broncos in most statistical categories, including the one that mattered most – goals.
BYU sophomore Mikayla Colohan scored the first goal less than 14 minutes in on a line drive kick, and junior Rachel Lyman added an insurance score just after halftime with a long cross that found the top left corner of the net.
