BYU Women’s Golf got their threepeat.
The Cougar golfers won their third straight WCC Championship, beating Pepperdine in a playoff to clinching a spot in the NCAA Regionals.
BYU finished 36-over par in the three-round tournament. Their 7-over final round was the best score posted by any team in any round.
This year’s tournament took place at the Carlton Oaks Golf Club in Santee, CA.
Pepperdine led after both the first and second days, with the Cougars sitting in second after each round. BYU made up five strokes in the final round to force the playoff, then won on the first extra hole by one stroke.
