BYU track: Women's track and field moves up 22 spots in national rankings

The BYU women’s track and field team moved up 22 spots to No. 20 in the most recent U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Country Coaches Association national rankings on Monday.

The Cougars moved up 22 spots after placing second at the Air Force Team Challenge earlier this month and competing at the UW Invite and Dr. Sander Invitational last weekend. Notable performances include a school record set by the women’s DMR team and Olivia Hoj’s No. 2 spot on the BYU all-time list after running 9:11.75 in the women's 3,000m.

The BYU women’s track and field team currently has nine athletes ranked in the top 20 in each of their respective events.
