For the first time this season, the BYU women’s tennis team will compete at home against a West Coast Conference opponent. The San Francisco Dons come to Provo this Friday, March 1, to play the Cougars, and the following day, BYU takes on Washington State.
Sophomore Polina Malykh, in the No. 4 and No. 5 singles slots, remains undefeated (6-0) in singles play this season. Despite BYU’s (4-3, 1-1 WCC) loss to No. 41 Gonzaga on Saturday, Malykh defeated Domonique Garley, 6-2, 6-4.
San Francisco (1-5) looks to bounce back after being swept Saturday afternoon by Cal State Fullerton, 4-0.
