The path to the Women’s College World Series can’t get much tougher for BYU Softball.
The Cougars will head to Eugene, Oregon to play in the regional hosted by No. 2 Oregon. The Ducks clinched the PAC-12 Championship on Saturday, and their reward is the No.1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament.
Fortunately, the Cougars don’t have to take on the Ducks in the first game of the tournament. Unfortunately, their first opponent isn’t a whole lot easier.
BYU will face off against No. 29 Drake. The Bulldogs finished the season with a 43-10 record and won the Missouri Valley Conference title.
