The Cougars had another slow start, but BYU rolled up 38 unanswered points after falling behind 7-0 to blowout New Mexico State, 45-10.
The offensive line was dominant for most of the night as BYU rushed for a season high 317 yards. Lopini Katoa was the star of the game with 155 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns. Matt Hadley added 55 yards and 2 scores and Riley Burt rushed for 61 yards. Freshman Tyler Allegier came in late to chip in 46 yards.
Zach Wilson had a bit of a rough start, as the freshman didn’t complete a pass on his first 6 throws.
