BYU released its depth chart for the Idaho State and shuffled a few things around due to injuries. The most notable exclusion is center James Empey, who suffered a leg injury at Washington State. Empey didn’t play versus Virginia and is not listed on the depth chart. Kalani didn’t rule Empey out for the year and said there is a chance he could return for the bowl game, but Aaron Roderick was a little more ominous, saying the team “will miss him (Empey).”
Connor Pay has filled in nicely for Empey and will continue to get the start at center with starting right guard Joe Tukuafu the backup if something were to happen.
