After thumping their rivals to the north, USC will roll into Provo next Saturday as the favorites. Per vegasinsider.com, the line opened at BYU +4 and an over/under at 52.5.
The Trojans looked to be on shaky ground after losing starting quarterback JT Daniels to a knee injury that will sideline him for the rest of year. True freshman Kedon Slovis took over for Daniels in the second half of their opener against Fresno State. USC narrowly escaped that game with a win, leaving many to wonder how the Trojans would fair against Stanford.
Slovis quickly quieted the doubters as he put up a dominant performance, throwing for a cool 377 yards and three touchdowns, putting USC on top 45-20.
