SPOKANE, Wash. — After improving by seven strokes on the second day, the BYU women's golf team moved into second place at the West Coast Conference Championships at Manito Golf & Country Club on Friday.
"We have put ourselves in good position for tomorrow's final round," BYU head coach Carrie Roberts said. "I am proud of how the girls battled today."
At a combined 25-over-par after a 293 on Friday, BYU is just one shot behind the leader, Pepperdine, and one stroke ahead of Gonzaga. San Francisco is close behind in fourth at 28-over while Santa Clara is in fifth (+52).
