BYU men’s volleyball was ranked 1st in the 2021 NVA/AVCA Preseason Poll, following a 2020 season that saw the Cougars go 17-1 and end the season ranked 1st.
The Cougars return everyone from the 2020 squad, and are ranked above #2 Hawaii, #3 UC Santa Barbara, #4 Long Beach State and #5 Lewis. BYU went 3-1 in 2020 against 2021’s Top 5 ranked teams, including a sweep over then #1 Hawaii.
The women’s volleyball team was ranked 16th in the Top 25 Poll. The Cougars finished 2019 ranked 17th, and have been ranked in the Top 25 for 106 consecutive weeks.
