PROVO — BYU announced Friday that Brandon Gilliam will be hired as the next head coach of the BYU men’s soccer team.

"I have been part of BYU men's soccer for 13 years,” Gilliam said. “I have seen it transition from a club team to a semi-professional program, and I have seen it produce some of the most amazing men I have ever known.

“I am beyond excited to continue on this tradition of producing successful, talented young men who will not only be great soccer players but will have the tools needed to take on the challenges they will face.
