BYU loses heartbreaker to Boise State

Another heartbreaker on the blue turf.

BYU had one final chance to win, but Zach Wilson was sacked inside the 5-yard line on the game’s final play as BYU lost to Boise State, 21-16.

After falling behind early 14-0, BYU’s defense was stout the rest of the night to allow Zach Wilson and the offense to give the team a chance to win. Wilson responded with 252 passing yards and a rushing TD and almost put BYU over the top.

Early redzone woes and offensive line play were the two biggest culprits in the loss.
