BYU looking to make the best of game vs. winless Wagner

PROVO — For BYU, can anything positive come from playing a winless FCS opponent?

The Cougars say yes, and that they will make the most of playing the Wagner Seahawks Saturday (1 p.m. MDT, BYUtv).

BYU, which has won three straight games, is looking to keep its edge as it goes into a bye week.

“A lot of people say, ‘This is two bye weeks in a row.’ But really, this week hasn’t been any easier,” said wide receiver Mitch Mathews. “I almost forget about who we’re playing this week because it’s just as hard as (practicing for) Michigan and UCLA, all of them.
