BYU golf: looking back on the men's successful 2016-17 season

After winning four regular season tournaments and a West Coast Conference Championship, the BYU men’s golf 2016-17 campaign has ended.

The Cougars finished the season ranked No. 46, according to Golfstat.com, while two Cougars ended the year ranked in the top 100.

The 2017 WCC Champions received an automatic bid to participate in regional play. The Cougars placed eighth at the NCAA Stanford Regional, shooting +12.

BYU recorded three tournament victories in the fall: The Olympic Club Intercollegiate, the Nick Watney Invitational and the Pacific Invitational. The team also placed first at its home event, the PING Cougar Classic, in the spring.
