BYU football defeated the Utah State Aggies last night 28-10 on senior night, but the victory came at a price.
Quarterback Taysom Hill injured his left elbow/arm and will require surgery. His collegiate career is over.
In the fourth quarter, Hill scrambled and jumped. As he fell, he extended his arm to brace his fall and he fell hard and awkwardly on it.
Hill grabbed the arm immediately and made his way to the sidelines. Tanner Mangum would eventually throw a five-yard touchdown pass to Colby Pearson on the drive, but not before fumbling a snap.
