BYU added some beef to its offensive front as offensive lineman Elijah Unutoa signed with BYU.
The 6-foot-5, 300 pounds lineman from Kapa’a, Hawaii committed to BYU back in October over other scholarship offers from Cal, Iowa State, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State and Hawaii.
Primarily a guard, Unutoa already has the size of a Division 1 offensive lineman. He is a big, strong blocker that consistently gets to the second level and punishes opponents in the running game; run blocking is his where he excels, but he also moves his feet well for an interior lineman in the passing game.
