BYU football notebook: LSU loses another QB, Cougars OLs working on gelling

BYU’s second opponent of the season, Louisiana State, lost a backup quarterback this week.

The 2015 Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year, Lindsey Scott Jr., transferred Monday and has enrolled at East Mississippi Community College.

That leaves the Tigers with four QBs. The starter is senior Danny Etling. He’s backed up by redshirt sophomore Justin McMillan and true freshmen Lowell Narcisse and Myles Brennan.

BYU and LSU meet Sept. 2 at NRG Stadium in Houston.
