The BYU Cougars made a big jump in this week's Associated Press Top 25 poll and are mighty close to being ranked in the USA Today Amway coaches poll.
Largely thanks to a bunch of teams in the middle of last week's AP poll losing this weekend, the Cougars vaulted all the way up to No. 20 in this week's poll after beating McNeese State 30-3, and are at the top of the "others receiving votes" category in the coaches poll.
BYU (3-1) entered the AP poll last week at No. 25 after upsetting Wisconsin, and was in the middle of the "others receiving votes" category in the coaches poll.
