For the first time since week 5 of the 2018 season, BYU has cracked the AP Top 25, coming in at number 21.
AP voters were impressed by BYU’s dominant 55-3 win over the Naval Academy, setting up what would have been a huge CBS showdown between BYU and Army (2-0) in a game that was scheduled for this upcoming Saturday.
Of course, teams from the Big 10 and Pac 12 were not eligible for the poll due to their postponement.
Unfortunately, BYU announced yesterday that the Army game would be postponed after a small number of BYU players tested positive to COVID-19.
