88 is a really special number in our countdown for a couple of reasons. First off we are now a dozen days away from day 100. A dozen makes it sort of feel like it has been awhile since we were 100 days away. 88 is also the beginning of the end of our odd position players (for the most part) on the BYU Football Top 100.
To this point, we have featured linemen, punters, kickers, long snappers and even a pair of brothers. As we get lower in the countdown, you will notice that there will be much less players that played in odd positions and they will rarely get featured.
