It shouldn’t be any surprise that BYU Football fell out of the AP Top 25 after yesterday’s 35-7 blowout loss to then-No.11 Washington.
Had the Cougars played the Huskies close, there’s a chance they might have remained ranked, but that wasn’t anywhere near the case.
Surprisingly, BYU still received votes in the new AP Poll, though.
They got three of them.
If you continue the rankings out by votes, that would put the Cougars at No. 39 in the nation.
Compared to how most people thought this season would go, it’s a much, much better position than expected.
