Provo • Yoeli Childs scored 20 points and Payton Dastrup added a career-high 14 off the bench as BYU extended its winning streak to seven with a 85-71 victory over Idaho State on Thursday night at the Marriott Center.
The Cougars shot 58 percent from the field, including 7 of 14 from 3-point range and improved to 10-2. Idaho State fell to 4-6 and had its four-game winning streak snapped.
Topalovic, who finished with a team-high 16, went to the bench with his second foul and 10 points with 7:48 remaining in the half, and BYU went on a 14-2 run to take control.
