What a statement for BYU.

BYU came in as a a 4-point favorite and rode a dominating second half to blow past Boise State 51-17 Friday night on the blue turf.

Tyler Allgeier had a 86-yard TD run on BYU’s first offensive possession to put BYU up 7-0 and the Cougars never trailed the rest of the night. Allgeier finished the night with 123 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns, but QB Zach Wilson stole the show once again.

Wilson had a pedestrian first half by his standards with 123 passing yards and 1 rushing touchdown, but he made some dazzling throws in the second half to put the game away.
