Three incoming BYU freshmen divers travel to national competitions across the United States.
Elizabeth Holmes, a recent graduate from Bingham High School, traveled to Columbus, Ohio, to compete in the 2017 USA Diving Summer Nationals.
“Lizzie Holmes has a competitor’s grit and has done some of her best performances with a little bit of adversity,” BYU head diving coach Tyce Routson said. “I am looking forward to her performances at nationals, and she has a great opportunity to up her game against the nation’s best divers.”
Holmes will compete at Ohio State University against 600 of the nation’s best junior and senior level divers for 30 individual national titles and a chance to represent Team USA at the 2017 Junior Pan American Championships.
