BYU will be without two expected defensive contributors, as DT Tevita Mo’unga and CB Trevion Greene will be redshirting this season.
At 6’3” 340 pounds, Mo’unga was expected to be a part of BYU’s interior defensive line rotation. He didn’t participate in Fall Camp, and announced on his Instagram account that he will redshirt this season. He will be a redshirt junior next fall. In 26 career games, he has totaled 26 tackles and 1 TFL.
Greene tore his ACL the second day of Fall Camp and recently had surgery, according to his twitter account.
