Tyler Batty announced on Sunday he will be returning to the BYU football program for the 2024 season.
This should be a warm welcome back from coaching staff and fans alike to have one of their most promost pductive defensive leaders back.
Batty was BYU’s leader in sacks (5.5) and tackles for loss (9) in 2023. No other player had more than one sack on the season. He also added 57 tackles, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery. He even did his best Masen Wake impersonation by attempting to hurdle a defender at the end of a 36 yard reception from Ryan Rehkow on a fake punt.
