BYU got some realllly bad news ahead of the New Mexico State game with the announcement that star defensive end Corbin Kaufusi will be out for the remainder of the season with a foot injury. Coach Kalani Sitake confirmed the news with Greg Wrubell.
Coach Sitake tells me in our pregame interview that Corbin Kaufusi’s senior campaign is over early due to season-ending injury. Younger brother Devin will get the start at DE. Kalani adds that LB Riggs Powell and RB Squally Canada will not be available tonight due to injury.
