BYU coach Ed Eyestone helping Utah marathon runner while he enjoys the unique beauty of the Olympics

BYU track and cross-country coach Ed Eyestone (hat) and his daughter, Andrea, celebrate Singapore's first Olympic gold medal when Joseph Schooling beat Michael Phelps in the 100-meter butterfly last Saturday.

Ed Eyestone and his daughter Andrea have enjoyed some unique and special moments at the 2016 Rio Olympics as they help Davis High and BYU alum Jared Ward prepare for Sunday's marathon.

“Everything is going well. He’s in good shape and he’s well prepared.”

RIO DE JANEIRO — Ed and Andrea Eyestone were moving a flag that blocked their view of swimming when they met the men who hung it there.
