After missing out on guards Mac McClung and Daivien Williamson, BYU is back in the transfer portal once again to add to next season’s roster. Coaches continue to peruse the portal daily in looking for help to next season’s roster and beyond.
Below are some of the current targets BYU is looking at.
The latest and likely new number target is UVU point guard Brandon Averette. Averette put his name in the portal on Monday and will have multiple suitors after him. Averette played his first two seasons at Oklahoma State, averaging over 5 ppg in each of those seasons, before sitting out the 2018-2019 season after transferring to UVU.
