BYU Basketball: The odds of every team pulling off the two seed

Related Topics: Seed

The WCC Tournament has a new structure this year that gives the one and two seeds an automatic bye until the WCC semifinals that begin on Monday, March 11th. All other seeds have to play the weekend before. From a mental and physical standpoint, this is a huge advantage for the first and second seeds.

Currently, BYU sits at second place in the WCC with three games remaining and a one and a half game lead on both Saint Mary’s and San Fransisco. The half game lead comes from the fact BYU has played more games, but at the end of the season it will mean nothing because all WCC teams play the same amount of games.
